The last one we attempted timed out early yesterday morning (Wednesday) so
that was about 5 days. It had only been initiated on Friday evening. I
thought the transfers timed out after 7-10 days. Not that I'm complaining
really, I'm happy they have shortened it. I think I'd be worried if they
have not received anything from Netsol by now.

However, here is my whine about how 'well' things work at Netsol. I'm still
waiting to see if this domain gets transferred after two attempts. After
the second declined transfer yesterday, I phoned the regular toll free
number at NetSol and was told (repeatedly) there was no way the domain would
be transferred since it was less than 30 days to expire and it's right in
their policy that you have to transfer it before 30 days before expiry. I
told them that should not apply to this domain since it was registered 3
years ago and that policy didn't exist. Finally, I insisted on speaking to
the supervisor but I waited on hold for 15 minutes and was then
disconnected!

I then tried to use the Feedback form from the 'contact us' page. All I got
was an error when I tried to submit it. Needless to say I was getting
rather frustrated at this point. I got a number for their "Customer
Advocacy" dept. and spoke to someone who said I was correct, there was no 30
day rule for the domain I was trying to transfer. I thought that the client
had perhaps received a notice he had not replied to so I disconnected and
tried to reach him. After he said he had responded to all of their
requests, I again phoned this morning and got someone who seems very helpful
in the same department. He manually emailed my client and said that once he
had heard back from him, he would put the transfer through. Crossing my
fingers that it goes through this time.

I just can't believe this kind of thing goes on. While waiting for this
transfer, I've been successful in transferring other domains from 3 other
registrars without a hitch and in a matter of days, not weeks.

Good luck with your domain transfers!

Heather

Subject: Final word on NetSol transfer outs?

How long has it been taking lately for the customer to receive
their transfer away
confirmation? Registry request date is almost 36 hours ago. Should
I be worried?

Is there a way to resend?

This domain had a 'no.valid.email', but he changed that before we
resubmitted, at least it
shows changed in their public WHOIS. Will that still be a problem for us?
