Maybe they are deleting all of those expired domains.  Then, they will give
SnapNames access to the system to test and be sure that it's working!  (I
guess that would be Verisign the registrar though.)

Their contract allows them to perform up to 4 hours of maintenance every so
often (forget the actual timeframe).  What they are doing during those 4
hours is beyond me.
