If I owned 'tom.com' I could give out [EMAIL PROTECTED] to all of my contacts as an email address. Now if I change ISPs I don't have to worry about updating all of my friends (okay, both of my friends) and family, etc., with my [EMAIL PROTECTED] A domain name should be had by all IMO because it provides portability at the very least, to say nothing of the cool factor and future uses: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:4322 ends up as a permanent and portable phone contact?
