and don't forget .icann.  this is an example of what happens when roots
become islands onto themselves.  something which has been actively
promoted by icann.  can we say "internet stability" anyone?

but the arguent can hold - as long as you disclose it's the users choice.
of course the uneducated user falls prey to the jingles.  which is
unfortunate and give the industry as a whole a very bad name.  look at all
the weirdness in .com these days.  it's a mess of problems hardly worth
the bother.
