Your customer or someone that receives their postal mail, sent in one of
those DRoA solicitations.

Enom sends domain transfer confirmations to all of the contacts listed in
WHOIS for the domain. They refer you to their generic transfer approval
site at http://www.transfer-approval.com/universal.asp (which pretends to
be *the site* that processes all transfer approvals for ICANN). The URL
in the messaqes contains a unique ID so they know which contact is
responding.

Two months ago, We started keeping track of Enom resellers that we get
these confirmations from. Here is the list so far:

Confirmed ENOM Resellers

Company Name / From E-Mail / Website
Domain Registry Group Inc. / [EMAIL PROTECTED] / droa.com
Hosting Unlimited / [EMAIL PROTECTED] / hosting-unlimited.net
Server Central / [EMAIL PROTECTED] / servercentral.net
Name Cheap / [EMAIL PROTECTED] / NameCheap.com
HostDime Domains / [EMAIL PROTECTED] / HostDimeDomains.com
Black Bayou / [EMAIL PROTECTED] / ???.com

If you customer insists they don't want to transfer to Enom and you have
their permission, you can access that link and reject the transfer. Enom
and/or the reseller will try to get an approval a few more times before
giving up. But they do eventually give up.
