I'm fine with requiring scripting enabled for the editor and anything else 
the client does. But requiring that visitors have scripting enabled is 
AWFUL. Ok, if you provide layout features which require script there's no 
other way. But if the user builds a layout which doesn't need any 
scripting? This is nothing I can sell without telling customers tenfold 
and in bold letters the caveats of using this system. I was about to have 
a look at it during the next weeks, but now that I know that I'm not sure 
if it's worth my time. 
I don't believe that one would loose many customers over time when the 
system would not "protect" itself. I strongly suggest rethinking this 
requirement.
