A straight up price change *IS* a trivial matter, unfortunately the registry's 25 domain per profile rule throws a rather large wrench in the works. Especially with resellers who manage a very large number of domains using 1 profile (for whois privacy services etc.)
This promotion is a great opportunity for reseller and I'd like to make it
attractive to our channel, so we'll see what we can do to our pricing system
to turn things around.
Either that, or run the process that issues the refunds every 24 hours, or every week or something, rather then waiting several months to refund the money.
