I'm not an expert (yet) on all the features of Platypus, but I think the current version does work with any currency, just not multiple concurrent currencies as you have pointed out (ie, you have to pick one). Multiple concurrent has come up on our requirements list so we'll consider it for a future release. I agree that has good potential (even if just to handle US and Canadian ;-)
