The Efika MX Smarttop that was at the April meeting sounds like it could do the job, but I was not able to find any links to a how-to for zoneminder. I do focus on hardware before the software, but should do it the other way with zonemoniter.
Thing is, I don't want to invest a big amount of time to catch a coin thief. I just found a nice detailed description of installing ZoneMinder on a guruplug: http://www.plugcomputer.org/plugwiki/index.php/ZoneMinder Then there is a question of getting a camera to work. That is covered in a different wiki. OK, I am sold on the support for the guruplug. The credit car will stay in the wallet until the misses votes up or down on the project.
