I don't see anything for where to have the document open: first page, or
where last edited. I see "Load user-specific settings with the document"
but not where to select that particular setting.

Me neither Cor. All I see under "Load" are two tick boxes with "Load
user-specific settings with the document" and "Load printer settings
with the document" Nothing else and certainly nothing remotely
connected to load document at last saved point, or whatever such wording
would be.
