IMHO, it's not about making anyone use anything, but about asking them to make free content available in free *formats* (which is always an option, and rarely hard...) it shouldn't be a "rule" of course, but where possible it should be done. If ho contributes to Wikipedia from Netscape 4 he is contributing *wikitext* which becomes *XHTML*, both free formats. - -- Stephen Paul Weber, @singpolyma Please see <http://singpolyma.net> for how I prefer to be contacted. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFIyR/F6oSxepE9BOsRAjs8AJ9KpgPJYbWBedwxABtE5USQhZJ7pgCeI/ct Vbwa4AFrk7zynNpHcAFzjlo= =fSSO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://freeculture.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss
