What about a similar browser addon "GEMAtube" to raise awareness? If out of Germany it uses a German proxy so others can see the issue. If in Germany it proxies YouTube so you can see all videos. China Channel was open sourced but their site seems to be down. If anyone can program extensions, they probably still have the code.
