Hi Daemach, Taconite intercepts every call only so that it can peak at the response. If the response is an XML document and the root node is named 'taconite' then Taconite will process it as a command doc. In every other case normal ajax processing occurs. In fact, even in the case of a Taconite command doc normal ajax processing occurs (callbacks are fired, etc). You can freely mix and match Taconite and non-Taconite calls.
