The primary duties and responsibilities of an appointee to the position are teaching, pedagogical innovation, and academic program development. Secondary responsibilities are professional and/or scholarly achievement and activity, including creative activity related to instruction and pedagogy. Therefore, it is expected that the appointee demonstrate teaching excellence and pedagogically innovative techniques both in the classroom and in professional and scholarly activities.
