Hi everyone - I am in the process of organizing a Carpentry meetup, to be held at SC19 in Denver next month. The event will be 60-90 minutes, and will be held on the exhibit floor at the University of New Mexico booth (which is in fact a collaboration between UNM, NMSU, OU, UTEP, and the NM Consortium). The exact time and date are TBD.
I know a lot of us are working on state and regional Carpentry initiatives, and I'm interested in using the opportunity to discuss networking, sustainability, and other organizational issues/strategies for growing and supporting these types of programs. That said, I'm open to other topics of interest to the community.
