A large chunk of those Google hits were lost when Oracle took the
opensolaris community forums offline - mind you, they do live-on as mailing
lists. Anyone have a subscribe link?

Regardless, I'm speaking primarily from watching the website and mailing
lists for OpenIndiana; and, comparing that with experience in the Linux and
BSD communities. It's true that wikis, and mailing lists are facilitating
newer methods of communicating. But, when spam bots are submitting most of
the comments on the wiki, which is substituting for a forum, people can
begin to get the impression a project may be stalling.

Anyways, that's just my 2 cents, and I probably have some change
coming-back. :-P
