As my note pointed out, everyone inherited this decision from OpenSolaris over a
decade ago. What makes you think omnios did anything besides keep that?
I didn't paste the part of the argument that pointed out these are just defaults
which can be very easily changed by users or sites with different preferences.
why try to fix something which isn't broken?
So you're arguing that omnios shouldn't "fix" the default shell they get from
illumos now and OpenSolaris before that.
