Hello all-

My company is trying to convince a client that there is tangible value
in doing research on the differences in how consumers in different parts
of the world interact with healthcare-related websites. For example, in
the US consumers often question the trustworthiness of a manufacturer's
website about its own products, but may place a lot of trust in an open
forum of other patients and consumers who are not doctors and are not
required to validate their opinions and observations. Is this true in
other parts of the world?

The countries I am specifically targeting are:

Korea

Japan

Germany

Spain

Italy

France

If anyone has or knows of any published research, that would be
fantastic. Even anecdotal observations from the global IxDA community
are welcome.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Dante
