I really like this quote from the article: "Designing is all about conveying an experience through experience."
How true this is with Interaction Design. I find that I need to experience everything (or close to it) so I can come up better designs all the time. While design education such as those found in university, provided a catalyst for learning, it's not means to an end - it's the beginning.
