I've been working my way through "Managing the Professional Service Firm" by David Maister. He makes a compelling argument that such a firm actually increases profit per partner *only* by increasing the number of juniors, as that is the only source of leverage (partners only have so much time in the week and prices are market driven). I was going to do it anyhow, but now I'm actively and resolutely looking for juniors. In Kansas. We haven't posted yet, but it'll be probably April or May. -- Barbara Ballard [EMAIL PROTECTED] 1-785-838-3003 ________________________________________________________________ Welcome to the Interaction Design Association (IxDA)!
