"IxD as Choreography" - Perhaps a related vector? At one point - about 25 years ago - looked into something called "labanotation" as a potential tool for the unique needs of the emerging discipline of IxD. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labanotation (movement notation / dance notation)
