I have a folder (at really it is a TrueCrypt's volume) encrypted for my business work. I really think it's relevant to encrypt my job docs... I don't like the idea of losing my macbook and someone got access to these files. The structure of this folder is client/project.
My music stays at iTunes library. My photos goes to iPhoto library. My desktop have a few items, but I think I'm going to organize it almost like Kristoff do. Need some little adjustment, for me, but sounds great! Well, I think it would be useful to add tags to files. Look for GTD principles, it's a good start to think about organizing things. And I think the windows resource of announcing innactive icons (for desktop), would be useful for all files on a computer. Example: "You have text files you hadn't open in a year". Probably you can delete it... or backup it. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
