Will - "So you think Google has been talking to intel? Is google
writing kernel extensions, or lower level processes like mach_init to
bootstrap the kernel?"

Andrei - "I think people need to consider pulling back on their use of
'Chrome is the next operating system' type statement"

I'm not saying they're building an OS, just that Chrome gets as close
as it gets to a desktop experience and in turn that marketplace

Google Chrome has faster JavaScript VM, better memory management,
better Windows UI rendering, faster text layout and rendering, and
intelligent page navigation in comparison to other more widely adopted
browsers. When combined with Google Gears technology, this is as close
as you can get to replicating the desktop experience with web
applications
