I'm in my late 30s and just signed up for Facebook. I'm also seeing many people in my age range signing up including friends I haven't talked to in 10 years. Although it's much less relevant to my life since Scrabulous is gone it is still a compelling site. The draw is completely related to the network of friends and, as such, the new design is irrelevant.
