I don't like pre-bucketing age groups. (18-25, 26-35, and so on.)
I have found that it's better to ask for year of birth. Once you have
your data, you can see if there are certain pivot years where
behavioral differences appear. It's better to bucket your data (for
reporting purposes) *after* you can see where the differences fall.
(For most technology these days, you'll find that age is not a factor.)
That advice is worth exactly what you paid for it,
