Okay, but what if we come up with all these official job titles and descriptions and what have you and they are blessed by the alphabet soup of organizations--so what? We still can't force anyone to use the titles appropriately or to copy and paste our version of job descriptions.
It's really not that big of a problem and any kind of kerfluffle that you run into over precision can be dealt with one-on-one. Like, say, calling a recruiter and telling them that the job they emailed about it mislabelled, etc. Think global, act local--I think I read that somewhere once. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
