I have limited experience with eye-tracking but, for me, you haven't covered the most important reasons to use it.
1. Big bosses love it... it's a persuader.... it's science-y but funner. 2. Talk Aloud, when a participant is watching their video, becomes "Post Talk Aloud" and they can tell you what they were thinking and doing. This approach is MUCH more informative and inclusive / collaborative rather than talk aloud where the participant is centre stage and "being tested"... this shift is subtle but hugely important. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
