It's much like the razor-razorblade model isn't it? However, because of how expensive the razoblades are, I, as a woman, often just buy a new razor. Usually the package comes with 2 more razorblades. I find it more cost effective. Is it a backward engineering for this kind of strategy?
At the same time, this is probably a good model. It helps the economy.
