GRE's are almost always required by graduate programs. It is usually required by accreditation bodies. So even non-academic programs like our Interactive Design & Game Development (which also might fit your needs, of which I'm not a professor) would require GRE's TOEFL and Portfolio. I can't imagine a school worth going to in the US that wouldn't require them. -- dave
