I guess I don't have problems with the name as others do. Having to explain to
those not acquainted with what LOPSA (or SAGE) means is normal in the world.
Try explaining what IATSE[1] is. It's always going to happen. Instead of
complaining, it's an opportunity to explain who and what we are. How long did
it take for NASA to not have to explain who it was? We're in this for the long
run. Nothing we choose is going to be any better (IMNSHO).
[1] IATSE = International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving
Picture Machine Operators of United States and Canada.
