I don't know if I fall within the demographic since I am closer to 30 than 20 these days, but wikipedia defines me as Gen Y.
This is interesting because I am in the process of trying to get a LOPSA chapter started in Pittsburgh and this was a question I asked the others. My response was: 1. networking 2. increase the visibility of my profession 3. sense of community 4. have fun A couple ideas for #3 would be happy hours, maybe a bbq, group outing to a sporting event, meetup at conferences. These don't have to be frequent and could be coupled with other events.
