Every so often, I'll get email out of the blue from recruiters asking me
where to post jobs. I inevitably suggest Stack Overflow Careers, and I every
time, they reply with "we tried that, but didn't get any good leads". I'm
not sure what that means for Joel's site, but it's probably not great news.

Honestly, a Friend of a Friend(tm) is probably the best bet. Behind that,
just being picky with all of your leads should be fine. Everyone who's
really looking for a job will see your post, as long as you put it on a job
board somewhere. Just write it well so that, when reading it, it makes you
want to work there.
