[not sure just what the overlap is between SAGE-members and LOPSA-discuss, so I apologize if you see this twice]
Hi- About a year ago I came to these august lists because I was just about to try to find someone to fill a UNIX sysadmin position at our workplace for the first time in about ten years. I have a new position open (http://www.ccs.neu.edu/systems/netjob.html in Boston in case you were curious) now with slightly different requirements. Now I'm on the hunt for someone with some network, virtual environment and research infrastructure experience. Last time I asked, the very helpful advice I got was to use Cragislist (who knew it wasn't just for casual encounters any more?). I was also told to basically forget the large resume sites because the signal to noise ratio was way too low. Is that still the right answer for a job with these requirements, or are there other places you recommend I look? Thanks for any advice you can offer. -- dNb _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
