Very interesting. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

I've got the Droid2 Global, selected because it has a physical keyboard,
is Android based, and is tri-band GSM.
After ~18 months, I'd say that it's merely "OK". The battery life is
marginal, the phone stability & performance have declined noticibly,
but it has held up very well physically, it was easy to root, and I like
the wide app selection.

That's one of my major complaints. The requirement of a physical keyboard
was primarily driven by a need to use the phone for remote access, via
ssh. I use ConnectBot (and have tried several other ssh apps), and the
lack of non-alphanumeric hardware keys (pipe and brackets being most
noticible) is a serious problem.
Has anyone found a phone & ssh app for Android combination that provides
good hardware support for keyboard symbols?
Thanks,
Mark
