Funny, I'm also in a corporate sailing league. It's great when the company helps to sponsor it. They have races near the Statue of Liberty one day a week for 6-8 weeks in 3 season rotation. Last year we did one season. This year is potential for more (hopefully!). A 35ft boat would be nice, but we cope with our 5-6 person crew on J-24s.

Also, I'm remodeling a house in another state. That's a lot of work, band exercises a different set of skills. There's quite a lot of things to do on a house built in the 60s before code enforcement was common: insulation, plumbing, electrical, kitchen, bath, some significant demo, concrete, and a few other odds and ends. I get to collect some new tools. Who knew a Milwaukee Hawk hammer drill from Craigslist could be so awesome.

We dream of owning our own and cruising around the world some day. I
plan on writing fiction while she...does whatever she wants, pretty much.

Also, I'd love to go into space some day, but we're a few decades away
from people like me being able to afford it. Sadly.
