I have been out of the office in class for the past week so haven't been able to dig into this yet, but rest assured I am trying to figure out what is going on.
The initial e-mails of reminders with with the wrong date has been fixed, it turned out that the software we use changed the template variables they use for expiration dates without ever mentioning that in the release notes. The current problem of people getting expiration e-mails a year in advance may be related as it isn't happening to everyone, only a few individuals (possibly only people who have renewed recently). I'm hoping to dig through the code and database tonight or tomorrow to see if I can track down what is happening. Please bear with us, and remember that both the board and tech team are all volunteers. We all do this in our spare time, and at least in my case, that has been in short supply lately. We are always looking for volunteers to help as well, so please if you have some time and would like to help LOPSA let us know. We have some development projects that we need a hand with, we're looking for folks familiar with drupal 7 migrations, and there are a handful of administrative tasks that we need help with as well.
