I've been using a SOLO laptop backpack for a couple of years now; it was a gift and I like it a lot. Separate compartment for 15" laptop, an adjacent compartment for books or papers, and one more with lots of internal pouches and pockets, some zippered. 2 external zippered compartments. Sturdy leather exterior, nicely padded, roomy, and very versatile.
