i've used a number of different password managers over time, but was never satisfied with them. Keepass was pretty good, but keeping everything sync'd between at least a half dozen devices was impossible.

I used Password Safe for a long time and then switched to Keepass a few years ago. We use it at work too. (Both of these run just fine on Linux, either through ports or as Windows binaries with Wine or Mono.)

I don't want to use a crypto app that is closed source, or that stores my passwords on someone else's server who knows where. What if they've built-in a backdoor and some disgruntled employee discloses the details to criminals?
