I've been using RoboForm forever....ever since I ditched Gator.

At first there was a problem as I moved away from Windows...but now with its
RoboForm Everywhere, I there are browser plugins for opera/firefox and chrome
and they have support for iOS,Android,WindowPhones, and Windows RT....and Mac
OS X.

I had briefly tried 1Password, but trying to sync back and forth between the
two wasn't easy....

The Everywhere version is subscription based - one unlimited license per
person.

Versus the individual installations, where its licensed per computer. (I had a
3 computer license for the older version, and then I used another product of
their's to sync. The same programs can sync with Everywhere when used with an
Everywhere subscription.)

I had a license to older version of the GoodSync product, which I was using
for more than just RoboForm syncing (it was part of my backup strategy before
BackupPC, it could do scheduled sync's or sync on change and it could talk to
a wide variety of backends....which was good since I couldn't connect directly
between home and work at the time.

Basically the per computer license is good for life of the major version. And,
they do offer discounting for multiples and/or upgrades.

Basically, I had v8 of GoodSync (its v9 now), and had V6 of RoboForm, before
switch to Everywhere.

Seemed to me near the end of V6, they bundled a crippled version of GoodSync
... and RoboForm Online...at no extra charge. But, Online evolved into
Everwhere...and if wanted to keep our accounts, we needed to switch to
Everywhere. I think the last V6 (and GoodSync V8) are still available for
download for people that didn't want to upgrade. V7 had been available for
sometime before Everywhere came out, but I had resisted upgrading...

GoodSync V8 did end until about a year later, as I recall... by then I was
only running it on one computer, and it was to do sync on change as that
computer slowly died. BackupPC says its been 488 days and counting since it
last did a backup of that computer....

Sadly, it out lived the computer I had upgraded to....still picking slowly
through the disk image file to see if I can recover anything else from it.

I see that GoodSync is available for Mac OSX, Linux, and Android/iOS. Though
since I stopped using GoodSync, it has become just cron and rsync, and some
ncftpget ...and recently some unison (for two way syncing.)

Also have a bit of dsync going on, but that's another story....
