Verizon is required by law to allow tethering without any additional
service fees [1], but you'll need to get an app for your phone that does
it.  These are only available through Android as Apple does not allow
tethering apps in their app store.  There are some limitations if you have
an old unlimited account, but you won't have one of those if you're a new
customer switching over to them.
