Hello
I've been planning to Drupal for my website but a trusted friend advised me to use Plone instead.
Then advised to use Plumi
He advised highly regarding security risks in php based applications compared to python.
I am not a coder
my friend know python but did not used plumi before
I'd like to ask for your advise for how to sort the website contents the right way
It is video and audio based website.
All files will be uploaded to www.archive.org <http://www.archive.org> and links only to be posted in the website.
in an embedding format
Contents will be arranged or categorized in a tree for various levels.
Website to be in Arabic. or in a Right-to-Left
All files to be watched or listed to online or to be downloaded.
to embed and provide link to download
Website will be in both Arabic and English but Arabic is the main language.
Website will be in both Arabic and English but Arabic is the main language. so no forums and no articles ...etc No files will be hosted on the website but all files will be uploaded to the www.archive.org <http://www.archive.org> , and only links will be posted to website. Both video and audio files must have the ability to be watched online (embedding) or downloaded.
For layout or sorting ... it is as follow:
Using categorization ... it will be sorted according to various levels as follow:
1- TV Channel
2- TVShow or Program
3- Presenter
4- Title of the episode
5- Date of the show
6- Main topic
7- Also all file types.
These are the main categories for the contents and may add a little bit more later on.
Each one must be clickable to list all included items under it.
and for each post in the website ... it will include the following:
a) the above categories
b) links for video files (a player to watch online, and links to download)
c) links for audio files (a player to listen to online, and links to download)
that is in details for the whole thing
So please can I do this with Plumi !?
hope any one can help
regarding Plumi ... is it exactly Plone beside some extra features ?
