I'm not advocating any particular option; I'm simply pointing at options. Also, its not at all uncommon for developers to subdivide units for any size tenant. It doesn't make any difference to the guy who owns the building if he has 8 tenants with 5000 sq ft each or 1 tenant with 40,000 sq ft, because he's probably paying a property manager to keep the space leased and collect rent.
If we leased 2k sf, it wouldn't make the property any more or less attractive to any other prospective tenants looking at 38k sf vs 40k sf, since there is already 2 other tenants with 30k sf and 40k sf. I still obviously think our current deal (even the 20-30% increased price deal) is a hell of a steal, but that could be precluded if we get evicted to give RRC space.
