It usually isn't written into the lease, but rather submitted under separate 
cover. Something like "we plan to hang some posters on the wall/etc." and they 
write back "that's fine"

Freestanding walls have the added benefit of allowing us to

temporarily move them around for a larger event (ie if we have a

really large user group meet up, a large party, etc).
