I don't see how it has anything to do with skullspace as an organization;

This $1000 that has been raised was above-and-beyond collected dues and
other "direct-to-skullspace" donations. This $1000 was pooled together from
individuals who want to buy a 3D printer and provide it to skullspace; What
they choose do do with their own $1000 is 100% up to them. Skullspace's
financial situation or, well, really the desires of anyone other than
someone with $ in the pot of that $1000 isn't entitled to a vote on it's
use.
