Ah @ requiring a permit - in Calgary (the only place where I have
experience) you don't.

In any case, to the issue at hand - it's really *not* that big of a
deal. I didn't really mean to make such a big deal of it. It's
relatively low-risk, but at the same time it seems like a lot of effort
without a lot of pay off. A lot of effort, a little bit of risk, and
fairly small pay off - I'm not sure it's really worthwhile to do.

If you want to, go ahead. Just be careful, take precautions, etc.

In general, though, whenever possible we should be working towards
ensuring we do things 'right', whenever possible. Even if we can't now,
because of financial reasons, as we grow and develop, we should try to
do things the proper way.
