I'm not averse to giving this a shot. So, to be clear, I go to http://cvs.slimdevices.com/vendor/src/?rev=2421
and download Compress-Zlib-1.33.tar.gz
and, I guess, probably the DBI and DBD and then do.... what? Or should i just be doing:
su -c 'perl -MCPAN -e "install Compress::Zlib"'?
Finally, any special build flags I need - maybe -march=k8?
