I have read that a LinkStation can be "hacked" to host SlimServer. For any that have done so, may I ask for some feedback on performance? The specs on the Buffalo website indicate only 64MB RAM. My SlimServer currently eats up about 55MB with 4K tracks. Is the LinkStation prone to pauses, skips, drops? Is the primary function of the LinkStation degraded (i.e. file serving)? I am intrigued because there is a deep discount right now on the 160GB model on a online retailer. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
