I just wanted to add another name to the list of people who wish the
newsest rhapsody version / slimserver version was supported properly.

The new rhapsody client (v.3) lets you save files in wma format onto
your harddrive for offline playback. Surely it should be possible to
stream these to the squeezebox using slimserver. I couldnt quite figure
out how.

Perhaps another solution to the problem would be to write a plugin to
rhapsody itself to stream directly to squeezebox, instead of a plugin
for slimserver to control rhapsody. I don't know anything about
programming so am just thinking out loud. The rhapsody client has
evolved and now lets you playback mp3s and other music that you already
have from your hard drive as well as streamed content (previously you
couldnt do this). It's really a much better program than it was
before.

Please can someone take a fresh look into the possibilities of the
latest rhapsody client. It may be easier to interface with than it was
before.

Another thing, it might be possible for rhapsody to playback Real files
now, I'm not entirely sure but isn't this what you guys were trying to
do inside windows with alienbbc ? Maybe I'm wrong but someone who knows
more than me should check the possiblities of it.
