Now the squeezbox2 supports 802.11g there should be no problem streaming audio (wav files) directly to it. Whilst the quality of well encoded MP3's is pretty good, *.wav files sound just that little bit better. Although I've got a fairly big collection of MP3's I'm thinking about starting to rip my CD's just to wav - especially as storage space is so cheap these days.
Does anyone know if it's possible to tag wav files so that they behave in the same way as MP3's within slimserver? If I'm missing something then my apologies - I'm still waiting for my unit to arrive (the UK is having supply problems) and haven't had time to play.
