I actually like the fact that it has some heft to it. With the Nano, I can understand (to a certain extent) the benefit of being thinner - it's something you put in your pocket. Not only is the SBC not something you would put in your pocket, it doesn't leave the house. I don't see a benefit to making the SBC thinner, especially if it were to jack up the price. It costs enough $$$ already :-).
